Constructed from #10 canvas for structure and long-term durability. The reinforced leather boot is vegetable-tanned by Wickett & Craig and treated during tanning with a Filson-exclusive process for added weather resistance. It will darken, soften, and gain character with use.
Its basic form draws from the heavy-duty bags once used by boaters to carry heavy blocks of ice aboard. The leather boot echoes the reinforcement found on vintage tool bags, helping prevent damage from punctures and abrasion. Handles are cut from Wickett & Craig English Bridle Leather and secured with hand-set copper rivets. Every component is selected for strength, then assembled by hand for years of reliable service.
Workshop pieces are made in small runs and shaped by the materials available. When they're gone, they're gone.
